El Chamo Bar & Grill | Our Story
A slice of Venezuela on Stewart Avenue
We brought Venezuela to the edge of Collegetown, with arepas on the table and a margarita in your hand. Come for dinner, stay for the drinks, and plan on staying a while.
The Venezuelan table
Arepas, empanadas and pepitos are where we start. Then there's the Patacón Supremo: tostones with melted cheese, steak and grilled onions, finished with our own El Chamo Guasacaca Sauce.
The bar
Our mixologists will shake up just about anything, and the Zulia is the one we're proudest of. If you've got friends with you, ask about a margarita tower.
Brunch to late night
Bottomless brunch with friends, a Zulia after dinner, or a late-night bite. On a Friday around 8:30, the room is packed and the food still comes out quickly.
The room
The ceiling is golden, and the lighting makes the whole place glow, even on a snowy night. Grab a window seat if you can, because you get a good view of Collegetown.
